The letter "Shin" is the twenty-first letter in the Hebrew alphabet. It represents two different phonemes, similar to "S" or "SH" in English.

The letter Shin is the first letter in "Shaddai" (שדי) an additional name for God. As such it has a many symbolic uses and meanings in Jewish tradition;

  • Jewish Kohanim (Priests) forms the letter Shin with their hands while reciting the Birkat Kohanim prayer.

  • One of Shaddai interpretations is being an acronym of shomer daltot Yisrael ("the guardian of the doors of Israel"), It is frequently featured on mezuzahs, that commemorate God passing over Israel doors in Egypt, as described in Book of Exodus.

  • The three valleys that create the topography of the old city in Jerusalem;  Ben Hinnom Valley, Tyropoeon Valley, and Kidron Valley, converge to form the letter "Shin", as if God imprinted his name in the land.

Unsure which size to order? You can use a ring you already own, that is properly sized for the intended finger and use it as a reference, or you can measure your finger with a piece of string, a measuring tape or download our printable size guide and use our cutout ruler.

Bear in mind that fingers size may change slightly according to the season, the time of day and overtime. Fingers may be a little wider when you are warm, and a little thinner when you are cold. They may also be a little wider in summer or after exercise. To figure out the right size for you, try to measure the intendant finger at different times and conditions to find the best fit. Make sure the ring will fit comfortably, but that it can also be easily removed, by measuring your knuckle. Select a size that goes on and off your finger easily.

If you are not sure which size to pick, we recommend choosing a larger ring size.

Bracelet Size Guide:

To determine the right size for a bracelet, you can measure a bracelet you already own, its length or inner circumference & diameter. Wider bracelets will need to be slightly larger the thinner bracelets to fit comfortably. Link bracelets and cuffs would have smaller sizes than bangles, that need to go over the wrist.

Bracelets & Cuffs:

Use a measuring tape, a piece of string and ruler or download our printable size guide and use our cutout ruler to measure your wrist just above the wrist bone, then add 1-2 cm, to allow for a comfortable fit, according to the tightness you’d prefer.

Bangles:

Your hand must fit through the bangle. Use a measuring tape or a piece of string and ruler to measure the width of your closed fist from the knuckle of your pinky finger to the knuckle of your index finger to determine the diameter of bangle you’ll need.
