Danny Eliav is afourth-generation goldsmith & jeweler, working with his son Ro’ee(fifth generation and counting), they lead a small team of designers and craftsmenthat create original and exclusive luxury jewels. Eliav's creations are renownedfor their original design style.
Working in gold, thejewelry is set with hand selected Pearls, Diamonds and precious gemstones. Eachjewel receives Danny's personal touch and attention to guarantee the highestquality.

Danny’s Story
As a child, Danny did notimagine following his family’s footsteps. He had a passion for history,particularity military history and of Israel’s road to statehood andindependence. His interest in design was focused on cars, not jewelry.His path in life changedafter the Yom Kippur war. Danny served in the Israeli reserves, as tank commanderin the Golan Heights, almost losing his eyesight during the war.After the war, Dannyworked as one of the first Diamond couriers for the Brinks Company. Travelingbetween Tel Aviv and London frequently, he reacquainted with the jewelry world,and the joys that come with it.
Danny always says that hetakes deep pleasure is helping customers before & during the greatest joysin their lives; Designing and selecting engagement rings & weddingbands, Birthday & anniversary gifts or celebrating other majorachievements or milestones.

Family History
Danny continues afour-generation family tradition of artistry and jewelry making in Jerusalem. Rabbi Shlomo Moussaieff,Danny's great-grandfather, one of the founders of the Bukharian Jewishcommunity in Jerusalem, immigrated to Israel in 1890 and based his Jewelry& Gemstone business in Jerusalem.
Moussaieff’s sons,including Danny’s grandfather, Rehavia Moussaieff, spent the early decades1900’s traveling the world dealing in Natural Pearls and expanding thefamily business. Rehavia traveled betweenJerusalem, Paris, New York and to Far East, dealing in Natural Pearls from theMississippi, the Persian Gulf and the Pacific Ocean.
When the innovativeprocess of cultivating Pearls emerged in Japan, Rehavia, utilizing hisknowledge & expertise in pearl, gemstones & jewelry trade,integrated Cultured Pearls into the family’s business.Moussaieff’s Jewelry store on Shlomzion HaMalca St in Jerusalem was a gem ofluxury during the British Mandate of Israel, with patronage of the highestorder, including visiting dignitaries and Royal guests.
After managing herfather’s jewelry store, Hana Eliav, Danny's mother, opened her own jewelrystore at the historic and world famous King David Hotel in Jerusalem. For over40 years, her creations were coveted by the jewelry lovers that visitedher store. Hana was a passionate jewelry designer, her signature weavedpearl jewelry and modern designs were a source of delight to hermany patrons, Israelis and tourists alike.
